NH Hoteles has announced that its second Nhow hotel, designed by Sergei Tchoban and Karim Rashid, will make its debut on 15 November 2010.

Since opening in 2006, Nhow Milan has become one of the reference points for social life in the city. The hotel group is now set to unveil its lifestyle concept in Berlin.

Architect Sergei Tchoban and designer Karim Rashid have combined the industrial style of local buildings with the contemporary mood of the upcoming district of Mediaspree. The ensuing hotel bears the unmistakable signature of Rashid, his typical organic forms and strong colours evident in the bespoke furniture and design objects found throughout the public areas and 304 guestrooms.

Music is the determining feature of Nhow Berlin with a dedicated creative floor comprising two professional mixing studios. The facility will be run by the hotel in partnership with Lautstark Music GmbH / René Rennefeld, who also manage Berlin’s legendary Hansa Tonstudio. This emphasis on music relates to the hotel’s proximity to a number of music venues, namely Universal, MTV, and O2 World.

The ultimate experience is the 260m2 Nhow Suite comprising a bedroom, spacious sitting room with adjoining kitchen, meeting room for up to 12 people, and a direct link to the music studios making it a creative suite as well as a suitable space for receptions.

More than just providing a service for professional musicians however, Nhow Berlin aspires to become an attraction for the capital’s music enthusiasts. For those guests inspired to write a song during their stay, room service is on call to provide guitars.
