Purcell Miller Tritton have been appointed as Architects and Lead Consultants for a major remodelling of Danesfield House Hotel in Buckinghamshire.
Purcell Miller Triton's substantial proposals include over 50 additional luxury suites, wedding and conference suites, new spa facilities as well as reordering of parking and servicing arrangements.
Jeremy Blake, Senior Partner and Head of Hospitality says ‘The client’s aspirations for an exemplary facility that embodies the highest standards of luxury with a full green and sustainable agenda is another perfect fit for our skills and expertise both with listed buildings and eco luxury in the hotel sector. Danesfield House is listed Grade 2* and is one of only five chalk stone buildings in the country. Its stunning location set within formal gardens with an elevated outlook over the meandering Thames below are to fully utilised within the overall proposals."
Previously used by the SAS as its wartime headquarters, the site became a luxury hotel after new facilities for the SAS were built next door. Boasting a Michelin Star restaurant and other luxury facilities, Blake said the rejuvenated hotel "will embody the best that eco luxury can deliver."
