Accor rebrand AB Skipper Barcelona as a Pullman hotel
6 July 2009 GMT 15:44 (Barcelona)
The AB Skipper in Barcelona has become the Pullman Barcelona Skipper, Accor’s upscale hotel brand designed with the requirements of businesspeople in mind.
It is the 40th hotel in the Pullman network and the brand’s second establishment to open in Spain, after the 2008 launch of the Pullman Madrid Airport & Feria.
Located in Barcelona’s Olympic Port, the establishment offers a genuine living environment where friendliness, serenity and connectivity are the watchwords for meeting the expectations of guests at the Pullman Barcelona Skipper. The hotel has 241 rooms including 11 junior suites.
The convention centre, comprising nine reception rooms, is equipped with all the appropriate technologies and can seat up to 800 people.
The hotel boasts three bars and two restaurants: the “Malbec” which features modern Mediterranean cuisine and a gastronomic alternative, the “Syrah”. Room service is available 24 hours a day, offering food service without any constraints to meet “the needs of international clients whose daily rhythms are often upset by time differences.”
Two outdoor swimming pools round out the offerings at the “Healthy Atic Spa” and the fitness centre.
