Arp-Hansen’s low-cost hotel concept to open in Autumn 2009
18 March 2009 11:24 BST (Copenhagen)
Construction of Arp-Hansen Hotel Group’s new low-cost concept is progressing rapidly with Wakeup Copenhagen set to open its doors later this year.
The 510 guestrooms will offer luxury accommodation for the price-conscious in modest-sized 12-15m2 rooms. Each comes complete with private toilet and shower facilities, a desk, flatscreen TV, air-conditioning, and free wireless Internet. Furthermore, the hotel will offer 24-hour dining and a business centre.
Wakeup Copenhagen is designed by Danish architect Kim Utzon and will be Arp-Hansen Hotel Group’s tenth and largest property to date. It is located on the newly established Kalvebod Allé site, neighbouring the Tivoli Hotel and Tivoli Congress Center due to open in 2010
