European Hotel Design Awards winners announced

This international celebration acknowledges the passion and vision of the architects, designers and developers of Europe’s most recently completed and outstanding hotel projects.
 
BBC Radio 2 presenter Jeremy Vine hosted the ceremony which took place at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge London. Winning hotels included Four Seasons London, Park Lane; St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel and newly launched W London. The international market also demonstrated its prowess with wins for NH Palacio de Tapa, Madrid and Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom, Vienna, Austria.
 
The high-level judging panel included Chair of the judges Simon Ford of InterContinental Hotels Group, Jeremy Blake of  Purcell Miller Tritton, Gregoir Chikaher of Arup and Celia Geyer of Hilton Worldwide.
 
Categories included Newbuild; Bedrooms & Bathrooms; Café, Bar, Nightclub & Lounge; Conversion of an Existing Building to Hotel Use and Hotel Brand of the Year. The shortlisted entries hailed from all over Europe including Amsterdam, Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.
