Nira Hotels & Resorts has announce the opening of its boutique lifestyle hotel this coming winter. Nira Alpina will be the only hotel in the region to offer guests a true ski in, ski out experience with spectacular views over Lake Silvaplana, located just five kilometres from St Moritz.

Nestled into the mountainside and located adjacent to the Corvatsch cable car, the ascent to 3,300 metres is quick and hassle free allowing hotel guests the chance to reach the virgin powder snow and extensive ski domain before the crowds.

Guests will enjoy stylish spacious accommodation, a range of restaurants and a fashionable bar with expansive glass windows over the valley ideal after a day exploring the pistes.

Boasting 70 rooms, all designed to offer balcony, terrace or garden space, Nira Alpina has 14 connecting rooms suitable for families and 10 large junior suites decorated with local swiss artefacts and rich fabrics.

For families and young couples alike, the hotel has a cool, relaxed and chic feel with a number of chill-out areas, two restaurants serving local Swiss favourites as well as World cuisine with international flare, ensuring guests are made to feel at home.

Nira Alpina’s ‘Bar at Stars’ provides a popular hang out spot, with its cigar lounge, outside terrace for starlit dining and central open fireplace, its here guests will meet friends, entertain and party.   During winter the hotel’s bakery will serve gourmet sandwiches for keen skiers eager to spend the day pounding the mountain, while children coming off the nursary slopes close by will enjoy homemade cupcakes.

A well stocked library can be found on a mezzanine level overlooking the slopes and is complete with international design, hip hotel and sporting Taschen books showcasing the globe’s very best. Decorated with cowhide rugs and decked out with deep leather armchairs this is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine, a cocktail or hot chocolate. 

For adults looking for some alpine pampering, the Nira Spa promotes well-being through a range of innovative treatments using spa brands Alpiene and Spiezia Organics. The colour enhancing relaxation room, the striking mosaic-lined whirlpool with underwater beds and large sauna guarantee a luxury spa haven. Treatment rooms are available for clay wraps, sports massage, hot stone massage, exfoliation treatments, pedicures and manicures year round. A gym kitted out with the latest technogym equipment is also available. 

To ensure guests enjoy all the action, a shuttle service will run into Surlej, Silvaplana and nearby St Moritz where the designer shops provide high end retail therapy. Underground parking is available for guests at the hotel with sperate check-in and direct access to the mountain.
